Helen Free VanderBeek (1944-) is a journalist and family historian in Idaho. Helen Free VanderBeek was born in 1944. She graduated from Brigham Young Academy High School in 1962. She received a scholarship to Brigham Young University where she attended and received her BA in Clothing and Textiles in 1966. In 1970, she received a BA in English from Brigham Young University.
